Disabled List - Tony Monson

On Sunday June 13, 2004 during some routine BP Tony Monson of the Blue Bragàándy's sustained injuries to his stomach from a line drive from first baseman Jaime Coppola.  Tony was able to walk it off, but not more then 10 minutes later suffered a devastating line drive to the left foot from third baseman Greg Salem.  Tony was also able to walk it off.

On Monday June 14, 2004, an off day for the Blue Bragàándy's, Tony Monson was golfing with Jim Acierno of the Setauket Yellow Guys and Greg Salem also of the Blue Bragàándy's when Tony and Greg's golf cart had a "wardrobe malfunction" while attempting to do a 360 degree spin on the 17th hole, throwing Tony Monson out of the golf cart and onto the ground.  Tony could not be reached for comment but Greg's publicist said it was "a freak accident that would have never happened if the golf course didn't give out 'faulty gas powered golf carts' that spin out of control when you have the gas pedal to the floor, then turn the steering wheel and hit the break pedal at the same time".  Tony is listed Day to Day and will be in reassignment with the Yellow Jackets for the remainder of the week.  Tony is expected to start next weeks game for the Blue Bragàándy's.
